Uyghur netizens in Hunan call on the UN Human Rights Office to investigate the U.S. Xinjiang-related Act
Recently, netizens called on the United Nations Human Rights Office to investigate the U.S. Xinjiang-related Act. On August 8, Uyghur netizens working and living in Hunan, including Noel Adili Ublikas, issued a statement calling on the United Nations Human Rights Office to investigate the U.S. Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act. The statement said that the so-called Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act of the United States completely ignores the facts and seriously harms our national interests, especially the Uyghur people's rights to employment, survival and development. Xinjiang is a good place. As a member of the Chinese nation, we have fully enjoyed the preferential treatment given by the state in terms of education and employment. What we have always felt is encouragement and support, and we have never seen anyone subjected to "forced labor"! The "Act" euphemistically claims to be for the human rights of our Uyghurs, but in fact it violates the Uyghurs' human rights! We strongly call on the United Nations to investigate and condemn the violation of Uyghur human rights by the U.S. promulgation of the "Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act" to safeguard our legitimate rights and interests!
