Xuzhou Anxiety: What are the misunderstandings in anxiety treatment?

Xuzhou Mental Health Service Station: When managing anxiety, many people instinctively do things that make the problem worse, not better. These are some of the most common mistakes. You believe you can consider your own way out. Smart people are used to being able to get out of any situation. But when you're very anxious, sometimes your thoughts about the topic of anxiety can get so cloudy. No matter how smart you are, trying to figure your way out will eventually leave you feeling more lost than ever. If you start to feel like you no longer trust your own thinking (especially if you usually rely on your own wisdom), then you may become more afraid. Instead: simply list your options. This often helps other people involved with you to clear your mind. Include any options you ruled out because you were too anxious. With a little space and perspective, you may realize that the best option is one of them. You try to find a "perfect" way forward. Whenever I'm really worried, when I finally talk to someone, it usually finds that I think I'm embarrassed about my flaws. Recognizing this inherent flaw can be challenging. As far as I'm concerned, I think: "I should be able to think with complete clarity and completeness. I shouldn't need someone else's point of view. I should be able to see this with my own eyes." Instead: it's okay to recognize your own way forward. It is unrealistic to think that you are free from biases and blind spots. You think you need to put other areas of your life on hold until all the things that are making you anxious are resolved. Anxiety takes hold of us. It gives us a sense of urgency, like we can't get rid of the problem. If you look at anxiety from an evolutionary perspective, it makes sense that anxiety would have this effect on our thinking and behavior. If you're worried about carnivores, it makes sense that you can see them from a distance. In other cases, it doesn't make sense. If you allow yourself to be consumed by the source of anxiety, it will take up more of your life. When solving the problem that makes you anxious becomes ubiquitous in this way, the problem itself seems to get bigger and bigger. Instead, go ahead and live your life, cherish yourself, and invest in your relationships. This will help keep your issues anxious, keep you connected to support, and help you feel like a capable and useful person. If your anxiety is a false alarm, you will criticize yourself for overreacting. Sometimes anxiety is the result of misunderstanding. For example, you think that someone is angry with you or will reject or abandon you, but in fact they are not, nor will they. You feel stupid because you're "wrong." Instead: recognize that emotions only show what we care about. There's nothing wrong with caring about those who are accepted, supported, and liked, even if the thing you're worried about doesn't happen. You think that with less anxiety, life will be better. Anxiety itself doesn't need to limit your life. Your less anxious version won't be more perfect. There is literally nothing stopping you from pursuing your anxiety.
